Chesterman Chain
Generally 100 foot chains were used for engineering works eg roads and railways.

This chain was purchased from England and the gauge and tags have a larger thickness than my other 100 foot Chesterman chain.

The initials HLBG are stamped on one of the tags. I would be interested if anybody knew the English origin.
