Chesterman Chain

This chain looks like it has never been used as it is still tied together with tie wire.

It was purchased from England. I have never seen a 100 foot chain in Australia, so I assume that the standard 100 link chain was used for engineering works.

Generally 100 foot chains were used for engineering works eg roads and railways, in England.

The gauge is smaller than my other Chesterman chain.
