A. Abraham and Company Compass
This sighting compass was made by A.Abraham and Co, 20 Lord Street, Liverpool.

I have done extensive research to determine the period of manufacture and using Websters Signature Database I estimate that the compass is circa 1850 - 1860.

The compass, complete with brass cover is housed in a mahogany box with the original trade label attached to the inside of the lid.

There is a very unusual " Crown Symbol" with the letter "D " on the compass lid.

The compass face measures 120 mm dia with the overall length of 220mm.
