Cary   Level

This is an unusual level and compass combination engraved " Cary London".

The level has its original working bubble spirit level and height adjustment screw with removeable compass for use on a plane table.

The fine engraved compass is in exceptional condition with jewelled movement and silvered dial.

The lacquer finish is original.

The level and compass fit neatly into the crafted mahogany box complete with lock and key.

Note the section of box that is removed to allow the compass to be housed and protected.
